DPRD will be running swimming lessons in the evening for the next two weeks. We are resting all swimmers for the remaining championship swim meets. Please look over the schedule carefully.

CCAC/Dalton Dolphins Banquet

Our end-of-the-year banquet will be Tuesday, July 19th. More info will be sent out in a day or so.

Thank You to Everyone Who Helped Make City Meet a Success!

We made it through another City Meet. I had everything I promised: oppressive heat, bad rain storms, and some fast swimming.

I want to share a few comments I received:

"Your parents are AWESOME -- they are knowledgeable, helpful, spot-on with anything you need, and they all seem to have a fabulous sense of humor!! Please let them know how appreciative we are to work with them."

"Be sure to tell your hospitality group; they did outstanding work. I was never short of liquids to drink. I am not sure what their schedule was, but it seemed as if they were coming around every 30 minutes. Between providing drinks, they assisted in helping overheated people. They receive a gold star from me."

"From my chair, this year, all functions seemed to work well together. I believe the average parent/fan's only complaint would be the weather, which is out of your hands. To the parent/fan, I believe they believe the meet ran smoothly. This is a tribute to you and your team."

I also want to thank our Senior Group swimmers for their help through the entire meet. They were helping from the beginning of set-up until the last chair was loaded into the UHaul.

Lastly, thanks to our coaches. They were with me every step of the way. I've never had a staff that looks out for me the way they do. I cannot express enough appreciation for them.

Thanks to all of you who pitched in! We should be proud!
