Dolphins Win First Meet of the Season!

We continued where we left off last year with a win over Stuart Heights! For those who don't remember, we went undefeated last year. And we won our last meet of the 2024 season. So that puts our winning streak at 7 in a row! A big thanks to the parents and swimmers who came in early to help set up! Also, thanks to everyone who volunteered. We cannot have swim meets without parent volunteers. It's been so long since we hosted a dual meet at The Rec that we forgot how much we have to set up. You may have noticed we were pretty light on swimmers in the 6-and-under and 7-8 age groups. We take swimmers all summer long. Tell your friends. We also offer learn-to-swim lessons for ages 4 and above!

Picture Day and Ice Cream Social on Thursday, June 3rd

We will only have morning practices for ALL GROUPS tomorrow. Pictures and Ice Cream Social will begin at 5:30 PM at the DHS Pool.

Team and Individual Pictures

Swimmers can get their t-shirt as soon as they arrive.

We'll knock out the team photo first, then move straight into individuals (three poses per athlete) so swimmers can head to the ice cream line as soon as they're done.

All orders are handled online; no prepayment is required. They want parents to see the photos before they purchase.

Each swimmer will receive a slip with their personal access code. If anyone loses theirs, they should email [email protected], and Tristar will get it to them.

Ice Cream Social

We could still use a few items for the Ice Cream Social. Please look at the sign-ups if you haven't already. The ice cream is for everyone to enjoy. We will need some parents to step in and serve the ice cream. Nobody wants to see the swimmers serving themselves. The pool will be open for the swimmers to play in until 7:30 PM.

We ordered extra of this year's t-shirt for any parents, family members, and fans to purchase. We also have some previous year t-shirts that we will sell at a discount.

Dalton Dolphins vs. Fort Oglethorpe Monday Night!

We will have morning practices for all groups on Monday due to the swim meet that night.

We will be at The Rec at 4:00 PM to begin setting up. We would welcome any help setting up for the meet.

Warm-ups 5:00 PM

Meet Starts at 6:00 PM

Please make sure to let us know if your swimmer WILL or WILL NOT attend the meet on Monday by logging into the SwimTopia website and declaring your intentions.

We still need some volunteers. Please make sure to sign up to help!

Friday, June 5th - Normal PM practice for Bronze, Silver, and Gold groups. No PM practice for Bullet and Senior groups.

Saturday, June 6th - No practices

Monday, June 8th - AM practices only for all groups. Swim Meet Warm-ups begin at 5:00 PM.
