GRPA State Information
Please take a few minutes to read this email in its entirety and review all attached documents, as they contain important meet-day information, schedules, facility expectations, and updates that should be shared with your families before arriving. In true GRPA fashion, they have not told us when the second session will begin on Friday. I have reached out to them to get this information.
Remember, if an event has only 8 swimmers/relays who compete on Friday, it will be a timed final and that event will not be contested in Finals on Saturday. Another fun way that GRPA makes things more difficult than they need to be...
I have attached the Heat Sheets, Warm-Up Schedule, Meet Map, and other important meet-day information.

Pool Deck Seating
The pool deck seating is reserved only for spectators with a swimmer currently competing. Due to the size of their facility, families will not be permitted to remain in the pool deck bleachers or leave chairs set up on the pool deck once their swimmer has finished competing.
Families can bring their own tents and chairs and enjoy the designated team tent area throughout the day. You are also welcome to visit the cooling/viewing tent with a live stream of the meet or the Family Fun Area next door at the Activity Center while waiting for their swimmer's next event.
This policy is the only way they can safely accommodate all athletes, families, and spectators throughout the meet. If necessary, spectators will be asked to relocate to one of the designated viewing areas.
Event Information
- Food trucks and concessions will be available throughout the meet.
- The Kid Zone at the neighboring Activity Center will feature bounce houses and family activities.
